Moonshine & Mistletoe: An Appalachian Christmas Tale
Moonshine & Mistletoe is an authentically American Christmas show for the whole family. On Christmas Day, 1937, in the depths of the Great Depression, the Ballard family opens their Kentucky mountain home to friends and neighbors. With no gifts to give, they share music, fellowship, and good food, until their long-lost son returns home and a Christmas miracle brings the family back together. Performed live by 11 actor-musicians and built on the hauntingly beautiful music of the Appalachian mountains, the show premiered in 2023 at the Garden Theatre in Winter Garden, Florida, where the Orlando Sentinel called it an "old-fashioned, toe-tapping Christmas." Its studio cast album is now streaming on all platforms. Now booking the 2027 holiday season, November 1, 2027 – January 4, 2028, with special engagement deals for presenters who confirm by November 1, 2026.
